In the book The Sorcerer's Stone, by J.K.Rowling, an orphaned boy named Harry Potter finds out he is a wizard on his 11th birthday when Hagrid, the groundskeeper at Hogwarts (a magical school), bursts through his door and tells him. Harry then goes to Hogwarts to learn magic. He starts to look for the Sorcerer's Stone when he finds out that Voldemort, an evil wizard who killed his parents, is trying to find it. Harry then follows Professor Quirrell, Voldemort's host, and finds spells guarding the Stone. Harry finds the Stone, but it is destroyed when Quirrell tries to steal it. I recommend this book because it is funny and provides a new perspective on wizards, who seem not like all-powerful spell casters, but normal humans with a lot more problems.
