Hey Grade 4!
Reread the scene from the story, "The Butterfly" by Patricia Polacco. Think critically about the words and phrases highlighted in yellow (elaboration and craft) and green (external and internal features).
I wonder, how does Patricia Polacco show us, and not tell us, how the setting of her story could look like?
For homework, complete your drawing of the scene read in class. Be sure to use detail and color in your picture - bring the words we have read alive!
