Ms.Kitto & Ms.Patrick: Mini Government Quiz

This week students have been working on understanding and explaining Government forms. It has been exciting to hear them discuss the similarities and differences between concepts and asking each other for examples and evidence!

Tomorrow marks a check-point in our learning where students will have a small quiz on their understanding of what we have been learning this week.

Some vocabulary they will be tested on includes:
representative democracy
direct democracy
autocracy
dictatorship
oligarchy
theocracy
anarchy
monarchy
state
territory
sovereignty 
population
government 

Students will also be asked to compare & contrast two different government forms: democracy & dictatorship.

Students have their work in their Humanities folders which they should bring home to read over and consolidate their understanding.
