KITTO Humanities Weekend Work

Grade 5's are finishing up their Novel Notebooks. We have been working on our Fantasy reading while working on centres these last two weeks and Monday we will have a novel quiz and on Tuesday it is all due!

So what exactly IS due? 

* Vocabulary words 3 sections of their novel
* Comprehension questions which are being answered in their journals. These should be short paragraphs using evidence and sentence stems.
* Literary elements- there are six sections but students only need to answer 1. If there is time, they can do up to 4 of them.
* Bell ringers- these do not need to be finished. As I explained to students, we work for quality and not quantity so if they need to spend time on comprehension questions that is better.

Finally- for my Homeroom class specifically we have some due dates for our upcoming assembly on June 8th. Parents, if you are a parent of a child in Ms.Kitto's Homeroom class then mark your calendars for June 8th, our final Lower School Assembly!
