Third Grade has begun a new Math unit on measurement. In this unit, students will be measuring lengths using U.S customary and metric units and understand the difference between the two. They will also begin exploring the relationship between diameter and circumference, and develop the concepts of area and perimeter. We are very excited with this unit as it aligns well with our Science unit on rocks and minerals; we want to make it as transdisciplinary as possible!
