In what ways did Grade 4 make their thinking visible?
Wow Grade 4! In the past few weeks, you have been researchers, writers and scientists - practicing the skills necessary to determine the importance of a text, summarize and paraphrase key information, demonstrate LARK when creating a Google Slide presentation, use the story arc to write a narrative story and follow the steps to the scientific method.
You have shared your thinking not only with each other, but also with Graded Community - students, teachers and your parents.
Parabéns for your efforts in developing a growth mindset and making your thinking visible! Always remember, "Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion."
Core Values
I wonder, what core values did you demonstrate throughout the learning process? In what ways were being responsible, curious, risk-takers, communicators, innovative, balance, inclusive, critical thinkers and reflective important not only in your learning journey, but in building our classroom community?
Take the lessons learned from your participation in our many learning experiences and take action to demonstrate community, collaboration and compassion - both in and out of our classroom.
Review your Goals
In the next few weeks, you will have an opportunity to reflect on the goals you have created at the beginning of the school year.
- I wonder, what actions have you taken to reach your goals so far?
- In what ways should you revise your goals so that you are successful in your learning?
Sharing our Thinking
Sharing our thinking helps us to understand and appreciate different perspectives, and allows us to make other connections to our own thinking. Take a look at how Grade 4 has shared their thinking...
