Student are working in teams (4 max) to create a news video project that details an explanation on making graphs. The presentation should include appropriate photographs, video, music, graphs, and other visual aids. The final project should be uploaded by November 30th 16:00 to the Google Drive Math folder in a Full Quality QuickTime movie format.
Project outline:
Watch the news, get inspired. (take notes, use your note taking template)- Write survey and script.
- Send survey.
- Analyze results, create graphs.
- Review and edit script.
- Video recording and editing.
- 11/30 upload and share final video
Students will have about 30 min per day of class time to work on the project. Unfinished work will be assigned as homework. There is also math after school every Tuesday from 3:10 to 4:00.
Students are using a rubric to guide and self assess their work.
