The Number Devil. The 9th Night. Part 2 In Sanchez and Kitto Homerooms

Students in Ms Sanchez and Ms Kitto are still working and extending their learning from Chapter 9. 

In this chapter we are reviewing fractions. Since students could not find that much information reading The Number Devil, they went and found out more using other resources like our Student Reference Book.  Students already know that a fraction is a number representing part of a whole. We use fractions in everyday life, from dividing a cookie to even checking the time. Some studetns are reviewing the basics of fractions, what proper, improper, equivalent, and

mixed fractions are. Other students are thinking deeper and learning how to write fractions in their simplest forms, to compare fractions, and to add, subtract, multiply and divide two fractions.
